Bijli Mahadev/Chandarkhani
Pass, Himalay Trek (Alt.12000ft) [27th to 5th May 2007]
The trek begins at Naggar after a short drive from Manali of the left bank of
River Beas. After crossing the Chanderkhani Pass (3600m) visits the unique
Malana village, before continuing to the hill-top temple at Bijli Mahadev.
This is 6 days of trekking through terrain of easy gradient, passing through the Chanderkhani Pass at a max altitude of 3600 meters.
Participants have to carry their day packs, Porters and Mules will carry all
other stuff.

Day 00: 27th April 2007
Early morning flight to Delhi
Day 01:
Leg 1:: Manali -> Naggar : by Jeep
Leg 2:: Naggar -> Rumsu Tach : 3 hrs. of trek
Camp 1: Rumsu
Day 02:
Leg 1:: Rumsu -> Nauya Tapru : 4 hrs. of trek
Camp 2: Nauya Tapru
Day 03 :
Leg 1:: Nauya Tapru -> Ascend Chanderkhani Pass : 5 hrs
Leg 2:: Descend -> Nagruni
Camp 3: Nagruni
Day 04:
Leg 1:: Nagruni -> Kiksa Thach : 4 hrs
Camp :Kiksa Thach
Day 05:
Leg 1:: Kiksa Thach -> Bada garhan : 4 hrs trek
Camp 4: Badagran
Day 06:
Leg 1:: Bada garhan -> Malana
Camp 6: Malana
Day 07:
Leg 1:: Camp Malana -> Jari 2 hrs
Jari -> Kullu by jeep
Day 08: 6th May 2007
Noon flight to Bangalore

Cost Includes:
• Tents, Sleeping bags (Holofill) and Carry mats.
• Nutritious, high calorie vegetarian food will be served on the trek.
• Guide, cook and camp helpers.
• Horses to carry loads.
• Three persons will be accommodated in one tent.
• Transport from Manali to Naggar and Jana to Kullu.
• Hotel accommodation: One day in Manali.

join the Bijleshwar Mahadev, Himalaya Trek. I recognise that
climbing, mountaineering, trekking are activities with danger of personal
injury or death. In participating in these activities I am aware and accept
