About the place: The Nagarhaole National Park shares its boundaries with the famous Bandipur National Park in Karanataka, which together form a part of the Mudumalai Sanctuary in Tamil Nadu and the Wayanad Reserve in Kerala. About 643 kms in area, Nagarhole Wildlife Sanctuary is home to the Tiger along with the other wild life species and around 250 bird species. Located aside the river Kabini, the dam and the reservoir of this mighty Kabini river acts as a natural barrier separating the two wildlife sanctuaries - Bandipur and Nagarhole - in Karnataka.

Also bordering the state of Kerala, the Nagarhole National Park was designated as a game sanctuary in 1955. In 1974, it was extended to its present size combining the Mysore forests within the Nagarhole Wildlife Sanctuary. The deep valleys and the mesmerizing landscapes in the sanctuary make it a picture perfect destination in every manner. Apart from the largest Kabini river that drains the Nagarhole national park, the other three important rivers include Lakshmana, Teentha and Nagarhole. Several perennial and seasonal streams also merge into the four rivers.
 

Still water (backwater) rafting: Water rafting means cruising down the gushing waters of river in an inflatable rubber raft or water kayak over roaring waves and swirling fast-moving water for the excitement of a lifetime.

Jungle Safari: Wandering about in a wildlife sanctuary and witnessing the wildlife therein can be quite an adventurous experience. Whether it is done while riding on an elephant's back, or from a watch tower or from a boat, the thrill that one can have while spotting herds of wild elephants, deer and predators catching their preys in their natural habitat is much more exciting than watching a wildlife documentary on television.
Rappelling: Rappelling also has a psychological application in training programmes in encouraging trust in unfamiliar systems and protocols and following them well to achieve something that seems extremely difficult at first sight

06.00AM Assemble at Lifestyle, Margrath Road - Depart from Bangalore
08:30AM Have breakfast on the way
11:00AM Arrival at base camp
11:30AM Start adventure activities at the camp like. (River crossing, ladder climbing & some fun activities)
01:00PM Have lunch
02:00PM Leaving for Rappelling & basic rock climbing.
05:00PM Have Tea/Coffee
07:00PM Campfire
08:30PM Have Dinner 
Sunday 30th May, 2010:
05:30AM Wake up and tea/coffee depart to Jungle Safari
09:30AM Have Breakfast
10:00AM Still Water Rafting and Still Water kayaking
01:00PM Have lunch
03:00PM Start back to Bangalore

Things to carry:
-  Please carry one strong back-pack
-  2 litres water bottle
-  Personal Medication (if any)
-  Head wear like Caps, hats or bandanas
-  Sunscreen lotion
-  Toiletries (Comb, shampoo, tissue paper, soap, toothbrush, etc.)
-  Energy food and drinks (Glucon - D, Nutri bars, Chocolates)
-  Small torch with new batteries.
-  Movie Cds to watch while riding
-  Change of clothes enough for two days.

 Above charges includes: Non AC Transport, 2 veg breakfasts, 2 veg lunches, 1 dinner, fixed tent accommodation, permissions, adventure activities, wildlife safari in Nagarhole National park.
