Trek to Shingani Gudda & River walk [21st - 22nd Jan 2012] - Registration is on

 

About Shingani Gudda:
It is one of the major peaks in Charmadi range and is also known as Buddha's Peak. This is a 3 hour trek one way and being a moderate one, ideal for beginners too. One passes through thick jungles adjoining Amedikallu and Sibile Gudda peaks.

River walk in Arasinamakki:
Shishila to Arasinamakki. This trek is through water body. Walk through plantation, river bed and sometimes through the river. Extremely interesting. Takes nearly three hours. Ideal for trekking enthusiast only.

09:45PM    Pick up from Domlur - New Santisagar hotel
10:00PM    Assemble at Lifestyle - Margrath Road (Near Garuda Mall)             
10:30PM    Start from Bangalore.
Saturday   21st Jan 2012
06:00AM    Reach base camp,freshen up
08:00AM    Breakfast.
08:30AM    Leave for the trekking place.
09:00AM    Start trek to Shingani Gudda.
01:30PM    Reach the peak, have lunch and explore.
02:30PM    Trek down.
06:00PM    Reach the base camp. Have tea / coffee & snacks
07:00PM    Start camp fire.
09:00PM    Dinner
Sunday     22nd Jan 2012
07:00AM    Start river walk
08:30AM    Breakfast
09:00AM    Bamboo rafting Swimming,etc. (seasonal, depends on water level)
11:00AM    Fresh up and get ready
12:00PM    Start back to Bangalore
02:00PM    Self sponsored lunch on the way back to Bangalore
 

Charges: Rs. 2750.00 per participant
Above Charges includes: Transportation in Non-AC vehicle, Home stay or Tented accommodation, Forest department permission, Basic veg meals (2 Breakfasts, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner), safety and medical kit.

Above Charges does not includes: Lunch on Sunday and any other food during bus travel.

Note: Drop points will be the same as pick-up points.

Things to carry:
- Personal medication (if any)
- Strong backpack.
- An extra pair of socks, under garments, T-Shirt.
- Some tissue/toilet paper
- Toothbrush & toothpaste, towel, liquid soap.
- Water bottles (at least 2 liters of water)
- A torch with new batteries. (must in case of emergency)

- Energy Food (Chocolate bars, flavored milk, Electrolyte drinks - Glucon-D, etc).

- Sunglasses, Sunscreen.
- Garbage bag to collect any litter we may create (or other people have created).
- Camera.
- Rain jacket
- Moov spray
- lemon  for leaches.(2no)
