Trek to Kemangundi [15-16-17th Aug 2008]
BMC is planning for Kemangundi trek, I don't have perfect details to post elaboratively, but I hope it will be another memorable event in BMC. I request all BMC members to register who are waiting for some adventure on long weekend.
Tentative Schedule:
Thursday 14th Aug:
11:30PM 1st Pickup
- Murgeshpallya, Airport road
11:35PM 2nd Pickup
- Domlur Busstop, Airport road
Friday 15th Aug:
1200AM 3rd Pickup -
Symphony Theater, MG Road.
06:30AM Have break
fast at Chikmangalur.
07:30AM Start
trekking to Manikya Durga from Revanna Sittaliahnagiri (10KM Trek)
06:30PM Pitch Tent,
prepare food, Camp fire
Saturday 16th Aug:
07:00AM Depart to Kemangundi
09:30AM Have break fast and pack
lunch and start for next trek to z Point and Surrounding area
Night Stay at Kemangundi in Tents>
Sunday 17th Aug:
07:30AM Have break fast
08:30AM Trek to Hebbe falls (8KM)
02:00PM Come back by jeep
03:00PM Have lunch and depart to Bangalore
Difficulty level: Moderate
Please note: I am sending few freelancers on this trek, who knows the place well and who can coordinate things for participants. Its sole responsibilities of participants to contribute in preparing food, pitching tents etc.
The cost of this trek will be Rs. 2000.00 per person
Price includes: Transport, break fasts, lunch and dinner, sleeping bags,
accommodation in Tents.
Price does not include: Food on the way while travelling.

Conditions:
1. Registration on First come First serve basis.
2. No Cancellation will be accepted. (No refund)
3. Need Advance payment for confirmation of registration. No on the spot payment
will be accepted.
4. Consumption of alcohol is STRICTLY not allowed.
5. No facility of rest rooms on Kalwarbetta, one can use natural resources.
6. Last Date of registration is set to 13th Aug EOD.
