Important details for participants:
1. Please fill in the Event participation form at http://bmcindia.org/events/manali-skiing-march-2007.html
2. Let us know in advance if you need skiing dress on rent (its too cold there dont dare to ski without warm and thick clothing) - We are working out for best hire cost in Manali
3. Let us know if you need high altitude Sleeping bags on rent - Rs. 40 per day - Rs. 500 security deposit - You can pay the amount while departing to Manali.
4. Transfer the Skiing program fees : Rs. 3150.00 on or before 21st Jan 2007.
5. We are taking care of advance booking of Volvo Bus for Delhi-Manali-Delhi. You have to transfer additional Rs. 1770.00.
6. You can book airtickets (Bangalore-Delhi-Bangalore) your own. if you need our assistance, Please transfer Rs. 6000.00 additional, we will adjust the +/- of airticket later.
7. Please carry enough warm cloths (woolen socks, sweater, monkey, gloves, thermals etc).
8. Last date of participation is 21st Jan 07. Please let us know in advance if you require more time to getting leaves and other stuff, in case of cancellation we will accommodate you.
9. Cancellation: 100% amount for bus and course amount will be refunded in case of other participant taking your place. Airfare cancellation charges as per the Airways' rules.
10. For beginners Skiing is very tiring and need lots of stamina. Keep exercising regularly to keep yourself fit for the high altitude terrain. 11. We will have one meeting for Manali outing where all your doubts will be clarified.

SKIING IN MANALI – MARCH 2007

BMC is organizing Snow Skiiing Training program on 12th to 18th March 2007 at Solang Valley, Manali - under the guidance of highly professional skiing Instructors.


PACKAGE COST: Rs.3150/ - per person, which includes skiing equipment, training, boarding & lodging expenses etc
Traval charges are not included in above cost

Please let us know if you need any assistance in flight ticket booking. This will help us to fly together to-fro Bangalore - Delhi - Bangalore. We can also try to avail bulk discount.

We have limited slots for the programme. participation will be confirmed on First come basis

Tentative Travel Plan:

10th March 07 - Reach Delhi
11th March 07 - Reach Manali
12th to 18th March 07 - Skiing program
19th March 07 - Reach Delhi and then Bangalore

I am applying to join the Manali Skiing Program. I recognise that climbing, mountaineering, trekking and jungle safaris are activities with danger of personal injury or death. In participating in these activities I am aware and accept these risks, and am responsible for my own actions and involvement. 

I have read the club constitution and agree to be bound by it and any subsequent amendments to it. If I have any medical condition or am taking any medication whilst on a club activity, I will ensure that a member of the immediate group is aware in case of an accident occurring. I have informed my next of kin of my involvement with this club, and of the precise contents of this participation statement.

I understand that in case of cancellation of my participation, I have to bear the cost of the expenditure made till the time of cancellation. Refund would be made in case other person is joining on that seat.
