Night trek to Narayangiri - [14th Jan 2012] - Registration is On

About the place: Narayangiri at Jalamangala is an idyllic hill fort that is perfect for a weekend getaway and has something for everyone. Sited deep in the countryside near Ramnagaram,  Narayanagiri soars to a height of around 3845 ft. The entire hill is fortified and one can see the remains of a fort wall almost encircling the top of the hill completely. Atop the hill is the Laxmi-Narayana temple, with an exterior of shiny black granite. The temple is open only on Saturdays and is accessible via an irregular footpath in the lower parts and rough steps, hewn on the stone rock face in the upper reaches.

Saturday: 14th Jan 2012
    09:30PM    Start from Wind Tunnel Road.
    09:45PM    Pickup from New Shantisagar, Domlur.
    10:00PM    Lifestyle - Margrath Road (Near Garuda Mall)
                    Narayangiri base and start trekking up
                    Reach on the top and Relax
Sunday: 15th Jan 2012
     06:00AM    Trek down
    08:00AM    Start back to Bangalore
    (Optional - Visit Jalamangala lake while returning)
    08:30AM    Stop for breakfast on the way

Note: Drop points will be the same as pick-up points.

To Carry:
- Personal medication (if any)
- One strong backpack
- Water bottles (enough to carry at least 2 liters of water)
- Energy Food (Chocolate bars, flavored milk, Electrolyte drinks - Glucon-D, etc).
- Torch with new batteries
- Sports shoes (for better grip)
- Raincoats, jackets, umbrellas (just in case)
- Camera.

Above charges includes: Non-AC Transport, Breakfast, Sleeping bags, First-aid kit, instructor charges and miscellaneous charges.
Above charges does not include: Dinner before leaving Bangalore

Note: 1. Do carry your original photo ID card
            2. There might be a possibility of the authority to charge more for foreign nationals. In such case, if any of you are of foreign nationality, you might have to pay the difference on spot.
