One Day Trek to Mutatti - [25th Feb 2012] - Registration is on

 

 

About the place:

Meandering through the woody landscape amidst the forests of Karnataka is the Cauvery – the most majestic and sacred river of South India. The river offers both adventure and opportunity for nature lovers.  Tucked away from the milling crowds, yet close enough for you to reach, this camp offers a slice of nature that is entirely unique, one in which you can totally feel free!

 

 

Tentative schedule:
Saturday 25th Feb 2012

06:30AM    Start from Wind Tunnel Road.
06:45AM    Pickup from New Shantisagar, Domlur.
07:00AM    Lifestyle - Margrath Road (Near Garuda Mall)
08:30AM    Breakfast on the way.
10:00AM    Reach base camp and start trek.
12:00PM    Relax and swimm in river .
01:30PM    Have lunch. And relax.
03:00PM    Start trek back to base camp
04:00PM    Reach base and  start back to Bangalore
05:00PM    Have tea/ coffee/snacks.
07:30PM    Reach Bangalore

 

To Carry:
- Personal medication (if any)
- One strong backpack
- Water bottles (enough to carry at least 2 liters of water)
- Energy Food (Chocolate bars, flavored milk, Electrolyte drinks - Glucon-D, etc)
- Light-coloured full arm clothes (preferable)
- Sports shoes (for better grip)
- Camera.

- Rain jacket
